Dear All,
Highlights of March issue are some outstanding latest research articles related to preclinical phase of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), subclinical synovitis by new imaging modalities, discordance between clinical disease activity and acute phase reactants, results of OPERA trial showing importance of treat-to-target and efficacy and safety of adalimumab in 2 to 4 years polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) patients.
In practice matters, some very useful meta-analysis discussing anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis remission maintenance by non-biologic DMARDS, effect of calcium and vitamin D on vascular outcome and review article on spondyloarthropathy are included. All these articles are must read articles.
We have started two new columns with this issue, interdisciplinary expert opinion and patients’ perspective. All regular features with some important recent papers published from India have been included.
