Researchers in this issue have tried to answer some of the questions that come regularly in our mind. A few examples are: which antibody does precede the onset of rheumatoid arthritis? Which patient group of palindromic rheumatism does develop rheumatoid arthritis? What is the efficacy and safety of humanized anti-IL-6 olokizumab in treating rheumatoid arthritis? What is the long-term fracture risk in ankylosing spondylitis and what are the results of apremilast in psoriatic arthritis phase 3 trial? All these research articles are highlighted in this issue. Recent articles detailing new biomarkers for Sjögren’s syndrome and osteoarthritis have also been included.
We are always interested to know about the long-term data of rheumatic diseases. In this regard, this issue included long-term data of antiphospholipid syndrome, autoimmune hepatitis, common variable immunodeficiency, and methotrexate discontinuation rate in inflammatory arthritis.
Some outstanding reviews related to autoinflammatory diseases, primary immunodeficiencies, and hypersensitivity reactions to corticosteroids are also part of this issue.
