Candidate must fulfill the following both criteria (a and b) for eligibility:

a.  Basic criteria: Members of the Medical Profession holding a post-graduate medical qualification in Medicine or Pediatrics (or equivalent such as CMT-UK or Fellowship in Internal Medicine-USA).

b. Specialty training/ experience:

• DM/DNB in Rheumatology and clinical immunology OR
• DM/DNB in Pediatric Rheumatology and clinical immunology OR
• CCT-Rheumatology (UK), American Board-Rheumatology (AB-USA) OR
• CCT-Pediatric Rheumatology (UK), American Board-Pediatric Rheumatology (AB-USA) OR
• Third-year trainees in DM/DNB in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology OR
• Third-year trainees in DM/DNB in Pediatric Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology OR
• Completed 2 years of experience in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology or Pediatric Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology – candidate must enclose proof of this experience from the head of the institution and also furnish an attendance certificate of at least 2  CMEs/Conferences related to  Rheumatology and publications in this area if any.

 
Note: Membership should be proposed by an active life member of IRA of 5 years duration.

• Recent passport-size photograph in the box on a form
• CV in the format given

1. Confirmation of Registration:
You will receive a confirmation email regarding your IRA membership registration at your registered email address.
2. Proposer Approval:
a) An email notification has been sent to your proposer for their approval. You may remind your proposer to approve the proposal promptly.
b) Once approved by the proposer the system will notify the secretary to proceed with your membership application.
3. Secretary Review:
a) Upon receiving the proposer’s approval, the secretary will review your application for any technical deficiencies as per current IRA rules and requirements for the membership. b) Subsequently your application will be presented at the next meeting of the IRA’s Executive Committee (EC) for its consideration.
4. Final Notification:
After the EC meeting, you will receive a final notification regarding the outcome of your membership application.
